Mr. C. David H. Wrede MA MB BChir FRCS(Eng.) FRCOG FRANZCOG David is a Consultant Gynaecologist and the Lead for Dysplasia at The Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne. He was born In London and trained in medicine at Cambridge University and St. Thomas' Hospital. As part of his postgraduate training he did research into HPV and cervical cancer, subsequently holding Consultant posts in O&G with an interest in Oncology in Scotland and then England before emigrating to Australia. His major clinical interest is the prevention of Gynaecological Cancer. He is a member of the Board of the Victorian Cytology Service and the Working Party that has authored the new clinical guidelines for cervical cancer screening.
