Dave Hawkes is a molecular virologist and is the Director of Molecular Microbiology at the Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer. In addition to his role managing VCS Pathology he has been involved in a wide range of projects focused on implementation of HPV molecular testing, including self-collection both in Australia and in the wider Asia-Pacific region. He holds honorary positions at The University of Melbourne and the University of Malaya.
